Vincent Willem van Gogh is a Dutch post-Impressionist painter who only became famous after his death. Van Gogh is best-known for his works that use bold strokes annd swirls with vivid colors and textures. His paintings include The Sunflowers and The Starry Night.

Van Gogh suffered from anxiety and mental illness throughout his life, and died largely unknown, at the age of 37, from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
