KClO4 Explosive, oxidative, colorless crystals; soluble in water, insoluble in alcohol; decomposes at 400_C; used in explosives, medicine, pyrotechnics, analysis, and as a reagent and oxidizing agent. Also known as potassium hyperchlorate.
