Diana nyad

Diana Nyad (August 22, 1949) is an American author, journalist and long-distance swimmer. She is world-known for her endurance swimming, having broken several records. In 1986 she was inducted to the National Women's Hall of Fame. She has attempted to swim the distance Cuba-Florida 4 times, which has been her dream for 50 years. The last attempt (August 18-21, 2012) had to be aborted because of the dangerous waters when she was halfway and been in the water for 60 hours.
